My second book, entitled, TAMMY AND WILLOW, is due for release on 28th November.
As someone who loves anything remotely spiritual or concerned with life beyond life coupled with a loving bond to my pets, I loved this book.
After enjoying Gillian's first book "Poppy on safari" I was keen to read this, her second doggy tale. Drawn into the story by the emotional roller coaster and intrigued to know what would come next, I found this an easy read. I'm not going to lie I needed a box of tissues on hand. Not just sad tears but also uplifting, hopeful and truly relatable tears as you follow a young girl's journey with her cherished pets.
A lovely tale of rural life and the bond we have with our beautiful furiends, be they here or passed onto the other side.
Gillian lives in Worcestershire with her family and Poppy (a very crazy cream retriever!) She has owned dogs for over thirty years and they have given her endless inspiration for creating both stories and artwork.
Gillian has enjoyed art and writing stories since her days back in primary school. Following this, she went on to spend three happy years studying at Art College. At the time she had no idea what she wanted as a career. However, she followed her heart and studied what she loved most which was writing and art. Now, she has combined all three of her passions; dogs, writing and drawing into creating stories for others to enjoy.
