Something to Tell You follows the two families of Bert Leinster and his best friend Sam Murray, as the earth comes under bombardment by a Higgs Boson particle storm. The Central Control of the World council insists that survival depends on living underground, protected by The Envelope. As CCOW persuades humankind to hide in the Deeps, Bert cannot challenge CCOW nor comprehend why people cannot see the truth behind the lies.

At first, I liked the story telling style. It wasn't all science fiction, it was family, science, nature and I dunno, human thinking. Then came the concept, the way that the higgs boson particle glues us all together as we are 99.9% empty space. That was clever and the thought we were just all positive and negative bits. But then as I fell into the story, I was pulled along by these forces of nature into questioning what I thought was good and evil, black and white, light and dark, god and the devil right and wrong. That was the underlying theme that was really clever because if I hadn't got it then this exploration of humankind by Edwards would not have worked. But I got it big time and it changed my thinking about me, who and what I am. Clever and a good pace building to a speculative ending. Maybe a sequel I think.

No. 1 bestselling author in 2010, the only self-published author to make it. Yes for a week, in hardback romance but the truth is in the trying. I gave up everything to try to become a best selling author, my wife, my son, my homes - everything. "The Riches To Rags" author according to the media, my personal story being better than the books. But I carried on writing. Historical fiction, Children's fiction - a warning against Facebook, a chance for children to read through an electronic game of swap cards, an encouragement to read a book. But in the end, art is for the artist. You cannot demand attention, market yourself to stardom. You just need a bit of fairy dust. We shall see with the launch of my new book "Something To Tell You". Out 28 August 2019. It is speculative fiction. What? Yes speculative fiction, no one writes this now as it is not commercial, not a cookbook, a murder thriller. So I hope you enjoy its because it is different.
