I really liked this story, it was very romantic but in a real life way. There were ups and downs, break-ups, cheating and redeeming oneself. Once heartbroken Chloe isn't sure she can can trust her heart to someone again, and then along comes Ed. Will he be the one? You'll have to read the book to find out...and I, for one, recommend you do.
This book had me cheering Chloe on, at times she was a little whiny but she had every reason to be so...there is nothing wrong with a little pity party as long as you eventually get out of it, and Chloe does! She finds strength within herself and pulls up her bootstraps. She lets us know the reasons she is so gun shy about romance. I liked how the author delved into that and then...."back to the present." They style of the writing really drew me in. Ed's whole family dynamic seemed kinda unbelievable...I am very close to my ex but NOT in the way Ed and his ex-wife are. Other than that this was a perfect read for a couple of rainy summer days.

I really enjoyed this second chance love story.
The flashbacks to Chloes past were a great addition to the book so you could see why she was weary to start a new relationship with Ed.
She was quite a complex character, but I think her inner thoughts were completely understandable.
I'm glad she took the risk, and I loved the way they fell hard and fast for each other.
The twist towards the end wasn't one I saw coming! I do have to say that I didn't like the way Ed went about things, and I'm not sure I would have forgiven quite so quickly had I been in that situation!
But all in all, it was a beautiful love story that was emotional, sweet and heartwarming.

How do you know which man will be “the one”? He should be trustworthy, loving, and someone who values your needs as well as his own. Chloe had been unlucky in love and when she runs into Ed, whom she had not seen in years, their friendship blossoms and maybe turns into love? I enjoyed this story even though she revisits her failed loves and sometimes it felt disjointed. The trials and tribulations of two people who care for each other but fear another relationship felt very real. I loved the support of family and friends exhibited. Great characters!

This is a great read, which I would highly recommend. I was very invested in the journey of the main character- it's quite hard to explain without spoilers though! But I can say I got very attached and very much needed to see how things turned out for her. What makes this quite a unique read is the level of openness the author has captured of the mind of the main character: her hopes, her fears, her insecurities, her flaws are all so brutally raw and honest on the page, it is probably one of the most realistic portrayals of a person I have ever read. I very much enjoyed the book -stayed up far too late one night just because I really needed to see how it all turned out! I am very much looking forward to reading more books by EV Radwinter!
