1989 - the world holds its breath. The Soviet Union is on the brink of collapse, its eastern empire in a state of rebellion. Only a street trader, a drug dealer, a discredited young colonel and a woman, haunted by her past, stand between the world and Armageddon. STROIKA is the story of their friendship, love and betrayal, the quest for unparalleled wealth... and a coup which threatens them all.
Good book descriptive and well written more please.

I've just finished reading your book and it was great! I have to say, I can imagine it being turned into a film; in fact it felt a little like a film as I was reading it.
I read a lot of history but don't know much about perestroika. It's made me interested in learning more. In fact, just yesterday morning whilst picking up some framing, I almost bought Gorbachev's memoirs when I saw it in a charity shop.
But I just wanted to congratulate you on a great book, and I hope you get lots of sales.
