Here's what readers have to say about this book....
I recently finished Cloud Mother and thoroughly enjoyed it. From the very first chapter, I was drawn into the story and quickly became invested in the characters. The idea of Kandy continuing to watch over and help her loved ones after her death is both original and deeply touching. What I loved most was the way the book balanced humour and emotion. There were moments that made me smile, and others that made me stop and reflect on the importance of family, love, and the connections we share with the people closest to us. Kandy is such a warm and memorable character that I found myself rooting for her throughout the story. The writing is engaging and easy to read, and the blend of everyday life with a touch of magic felt natural and believable. By the end, I felt as though I had been on an emotional journey with the characters, and I was genuinely sorry to reach the final page. Cloud Mother is a heartfelt, uplifting read that will stay with me for a long time. I recommend it to anyone looking for a story that is both entertaining and meaningful. It has certainly made me tune in even more to the feeling of spirits around me beyond the robin and white feather. Well done to this author, I really hope she continues to write and will treat us to more of her unique style.
A lively read with an interesting and unusual concept. (I’ve learned quite a lot about cloud formations!) I loved the interactions between the characters especially those between Kandy and Gabe.
Highly recommend. I was totally gripped. Loved how easy it was to read, loved the characters and storyline. Hoping there’s going to be a sequel.
I absolutely loved this book! The storyline kept me captivated and I couldn't put it down. Looking forward to the next novel by this author.
A beautifully moving and uplifting novel that explores love, loss, motherhood and the endearing bonds that connect us. Cloud Mother is heartfelt, evocative and full of hope with characters that stay with you long after the final page. A touching unforgettable read.
