2019 And All That
Justin concluded his World Tour of Somerset and the West Country with a book signing at Weston-super-Mare’s WH Smith’s last Saturday (14th December).
That marked his 14th book signing this year, taking in various Waterstones stores, two WH Smith branches, and a host of South West indie bookshops, including the Snug in Bridgwater, Hunting Raven in Frome, and Chard Bookshop in Chard.
In 2019, Justin’s given 26 author talks in South West libraries and local associations. These have taken him into wilds of Wiveliscombe and Worle, amongst others. A place on the 2019 Honours’ Board is reserved for the librarians of Bridwgater, Frome, Minehead, Wells and Yeovil, who were brave enough to have him back twice this year.
He’s also given 22 radio interviews and been invited to studios in Taunton, Bristol, Yeovil, Bridgwater and Frome. It’s possible he’s now knows how to speak into a radio mic!
This PR is not just a tally of all the places he’s been fortunate enough to visit this year, but also a chance to say a huge thank you to all the bookshop managers and owners, the library staff and the U3A organisers, who have backed him through the year. Not forgetting all the people who came along to his talks and who bought his books. A special thanks is reserved for the good folks at Troubador Publishing for putting up with me for another year!
Justin is giving an author talk, The Mother and Father of All Things, at Dorchester Library at 11 a.m. on Saturday 18th January 2020.
I will be giving my Thought for the Day on BBC Radio Bristol's Morning Show at 8.40 a.m. on Friday 24th January.
On Saturday 25th January at 4 p.m. at the Stable Creative Hub in Weston-super-Mare, I will be giving a talk on Self-Publishing: How to Promote your Book.
The official publication date of my third novel, The Coronation, is 28th January.
At 7.30 p.m., on Thursday 30th January, I'll be giving an author talk entitled 'The Great Enlightenment: Is That How it Was Meant to Be?' at Exeter St. Thomas Library.
I will be back in Exeter, at the Main Library, from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday 16th February for an Author Meet and Greet and Book Signing.
I'll be signing copies of The Coronation from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday 22nd February at Chard Bookshop, Chard, Somerset.
From 22nd-28th February, Love Books Tours will be hosting a blog tour on behalf of The Coronation.
At 4 p.m. on Saturday 29th February, I am thrilled to have the official book launch of The Coronation at Waterstones Weston-super-Mare branch.

A fascinating novel that transports the reader to the ancient history of human origins while feeling as if we're somehow getting a glimpse into the future. Absorbing, thought-provoking, and very clever storytelling.
