Verity Trevethan

Verity is currently tip toeing her way towards retirement and is looking forward to joining her already retired husband in enjoying some free time to add to this, her first novel. Her foray into writing fiction has followed on from a 35 year long career in the pharma and biotech industries where Verity focused on neuroscience and the discovery of novel medicines. She is the author of over 50 scientific papers, book chapters and patents. Verity has balanced bringing up four children with founding and heading up a small biotech company and more recently being a director of a consultancy partnership. These experiences, and her role as an expert witness for the prosecution in a trial of company employees accused of making drugs of abuse on site, were the inspirations leading to Verity conceiving of and writing A Practical Arrangement.
