Robert M. Lowry

Robert has worked as a journalist specializing in defence and political affairs of the Middle East. He has also worked in the field of emergency and crisis management, as well as in devising scenarios to identify strategy options. Born in 1967 and living in Scotland, Robert has long maintained an interest in the politics and myths of ancient Greece. Robert wrote on military and security issues for publications such as Jane’s Defence Weekly, Arabies Trends, Scotland on Sunday,and Al-Ahram Weekly. From 1993-94 Robert published the Middle East Dialogue. This involved collating, editing and publishing political opinions in English, French and Arabic from more than 100 contributors from very diverse political standpoints.
