Operation "Pied Piper" caused my birth in alien Nottingham - July 1940, when I should have been born a Man of Kent. Following the "Battle of Britain" I was brought home to "Hellfire Corner," Folkestone, to be raised in a Morrison air-raid shelter, midst intense shelling, bombing, and overhead dog-fights. On retirement from local government Architecture, I traced my Kentish ancestry back to 1250AD. This research prompted me to write my debut novel "Claxfeldestane." I am preparing a second book for publication. I have been diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease. I shall carry on writing as long as I am able.
