Muhammad Wajid Akhter

Dr Muhammad Wajid Akhter is a medical doctor working in the UK. He is also the founder of a variety of multi-national projects including Charity Week for orphans and children in need, FIMA Lifesavers and the co-founder of the Islamic History Channel. A former Assistant Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain, he is also a founding member of the British Islamic Medical Association (BIMA) and the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management. Dr Wajid lectures in Social Media and the History of Medicine at London Medical Schools. His passions include history, public speaking, building teams and travelling.
