Jane Lightbourne

Jane is a trained lawyer and lives in London with her three children. Her first chapter book for children aged 7-11,  MY CAT CALLED RED, features the magical cat Red, his purr that transforms lives, and his perilous search for his forever home. Jane has just released A TALE OF THREE TABBIES, also for children 7-11, an exciting animal adventure about the rescue of three cats from a Greek island during the pandemic. It is based on a true story. LOSS, a love story set in London and the Scottish Highlands, which combines elements of mystery and suspense, is Jane’s first novel for adults. Jane recently spoke about her books at a literary festival in Blackheath, headlined by Michael Rosen. Jane has just released a second edition of A Tale of Three Tabbies, which features a new cover by talented artist, Gary Ray Smith. Jane has was booked to speak about her chapter books at the Lewis Carroll Library/Weet Library in North London. Nevada Street Press, her company, has been shortlisted for the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards (Made in Greenwich category).
