Harry Bucknall

Harry Bucknall was born in Taunton, Somerset and graduated from Newcastle University with a Bachelors degree in English Literature and from the School of Slavonic and East European Studies with a Masters degree in Russian and Czech Literature. Harry worked for GCHQ, specialising in Russian military and global counterterrorism targets. His final assignment for the British government was a tour of Afghanistan in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 where he worked alongside UK and US Special Forces. For the past decade, Harry has lived and worked in the Middle East, providing security and risk mitigation advice to governments, the United Nations and private sector organisations.
