Claire Baldry

In 2013 Claire Baldry retired from her career in education, and reinvented herself as a writer, blogger and performance poet. Now in her late 60s Claire has published six booklets of amusing poetry and two novels 'Different Genes' and 'My Daughter's Wedding'. Claire has a regular schedule of public speaking engagements where she reads excerpts from her work and talks with humour about her transformation from headteacher to writer. Claire's books appeal especially to readers in mid-life and beyond, and she is the founder of the popular website www.autumnchickens.co.uk.
