Barbara Bates

I am a 54 year old wife and mother, living in the same Welsh market town that I was born in. My first book is being published next month, and my whole family are very excited about it. I have worked for an archaeological trust in Swansea for the past 29 years, and my hobbies include dog-walking, fish-keeping, running, socialising, pub quizzing, plus I enjoy knitting dolls for friends, family and charity. I also enjoy travelling, which I do with my husband Antony, and also city breaks with friends. My book is called 'Tommy & Tag', and is an illustrated rhyming book about a boy and his dog.
