The Timewaif Chronicles

Tim Wainwright is a twelve-year-old boy who acts as a carer for his grieving mother. He struggles with his self-confidence as he faces the bullies at his school.

Tim finds himself slipping back through time to Roman Cumbria where he gets caught up in a series of adventures along the Roman Road there. It is through these trials he learns courage, resilience and how to find his own voice. When he finally returns to his own time, he is much better equipped to deal with the modern-day problems he faces.

A carefully researched series of novels which will educate as well as entertain children. The first is set on the west coast of Cumbria and sees its hero learn about confidence and resilience through his experiences in Roman times.
