I am taking notes as I read my through this book! It’s so easy and fun to read. I love that the author is telling/giving you advice as a “big sister” and that some of the advice are topics that can be hard to discuss. This is a handbook to all women!

Fabulous book! I have a 12 year old daughter, soon to be 13, and I bought Jane's book for her. She loves it and keeps giving me snippets of information about the things she's read! The book has some fabulous tips and advice for teenage girls that is all delivered in just the right way and with a touch of humour. I shall be buying more copies of the book as gifts for my daughter's teen friends - I think they'll love it.

The TGSB is really a must read for each and every teenage girl. Packed full of sage advice and fun tips on everything teen girls need and would love to know about, it’s a safe place for them to learn how to navigate the often choppy waters of growing up. I only wish this book was written 30 years ago!

As a single dad of two daughters this book is absolutely invaluable. I read a bit myself and was very impressed by the amount of information and amazing advice the book covers. As a man It’s not always easy to talk about certain topics with my girls. It’s totally brilliant!

My 12 and 14 year old daugthers' absolutely love the book and were thrilled to find so many properly useful and thoughtful ideas and advice in one place. Maeve has commented on the recipes which she's going to make and I noticed her make up looks a lot more subtle since reading. She's 12 next weekend but very advanced for her age and recently announced she has a boyfriend! I honestly wish there’d been something like this 100 years ago when I was 14! We’d give this book maximum stars.

I bought the Survival Bible for my 13 year old Niece and I am now officially the best Auntie in the world! She hasn't put it down and it has opened new conversations with her friends and parents. After reading a few sections I have picked up a couple of great make-up tips and to be honest wish this had been around when I was a teenager. It's a perfect gift for any teenage girl!

This book is a valued tool as the first construction block for teenage security and self identity - what a brilliant resource for young girls to identify and understand to be self confident and expressive without sole dependence on social media and those cloned perceptions. As a makeup school we show this book to our clients as a resource for daughters, god daughters, step daughters, nieces and sisters and in general as such a well considered and educational tool. Congratulations Jane Bradley on implementing such a valued and important resource into the market as a way for fostering, nurturing and building higher self esteem amongst the teenage ages.

My 16 year old daughter loved this book and it is now being passed round her group of friends!
I was delighted when I saw the topics covered....all the stuff you want your daughter to know about but without the embarassment of having to tell them yourself!

WOW - Upon arrival of #TGSB my 12 year old daughter has totally devoured this book. She loves it. Asked what she likes, I got a machine gun fire of answers…. In short EVERYTHING, it talks about EVERYTHING a teen (or pre-teen in my case) could want to know and more. As a family able to talk about anything and everything, it’s still really important to still have your own reference, something you can trust and refer to if you have questions. Also, to have the right answers when there is so much mis-information, hearsay being talked about at school. A win win. This is beyond doubt the BEST TEENAGE BOOK ON THE MARKET. Well done Jane, bloody awesome! Now hand it over, it’s my turn to read it.

I read this book over the summer, I couldn’t put it down. I thought it was amazing, there was so many useful tips that I can use every day. It was so interesting and definitely the most helpful and real book I’ve ever read.

What a great book! I'm a big fan of anything that shortcuts the stress and anxieties of growing up! As the world gets more and more difficult to navigate, this book allows our daughters some straight talking advice, from a woman who knows what she's talking about. From practical tips, physical changes and beauty must-knows, to the complex issues of esteem and relating to others, Jane's pearls of wisdom drip reassurance and 'it'll all be ok'. For anyone who remembers their teen angst, do your girls a favour!

As a little girl, I was extremely shy (hard to believe now). I thought I was ugly and was bullied. Reaching puberty my ears stuck out, I was goofy AND lanky, it wasn't pretty. Fortunately for me my mother was aware of my self-loathing and made it her business to instil self-love, self-belief and self-confidence into me; a hard task but it worked, eventually. I was lucky! Not every girl has that sort of guidance.
In 1986, I moved from Yorkshire to London to follow my dream of becoming a make-up artist, and over the last 25 years I've travelled all over the world making up models, rock stars and even royalty. Since most models are always young I've basically spent years in the company of teenage girls so I must have heard every bit of teenage girl angst in the book and, I think because of my experiences growing up, I've been able to offer some pretty sound advice (apparently, I'm good at it!).
It was only when Issy and Tilly came into my life (my boyfriend's teenage daughters) that I was inspired to write my very first book, the Teenage Girls Survival Bible.
I live in London with Guy, the girls and our dog, Parker.
