I Saw a Beam of a Morning

Paul Vebber may only be twenty-three but he is already a successful, prominent poet with two published books. Despite this success, Paul finds himself disenchanted and disappointed in his life. Depressed and tired of his shallow friends, his life to him seems to be nothing but meaningless relationships and recurring nightmares. He feels like he has lost something very important (himself, perhaps?..)

Resolved to make an effort to reconnect with the child he once was and to understand how and when everything went so wrong, Paul sets out to change his life. It’s all going well until one day when he meets a charismatic (and slightly weird) stranger…

Maria Fidrovska

My name is Maria. I was born in a marvelous Ukrainian metropolis called Kharkiv and I am proud to be a citizen of such a wonderful place. The greatest influence on me I think was made by my older brother who unfortunately died before my thirteen.

Since the 9th form, I studied in the class of foreign languages where I learned English well enough. After the school (Kharkiv state University lyceum) I entered Philosophy faculty at Kharkiv University from where I graduated in 2010.

Now I am an assistant lecturer of Philosophy in one of Kharkiv universities, I write novels and poetry and sing in church. Thank you for your attention.
