The author reimagines the Glasgow tenement lifestyle, fuelled by his own experiences of living in flats. There's a touch of humour but there's also an element of crime, the combination of which makes excellent reading.
Good book, great storyline. Something a bit different. If you like this genre, it’s definitely worth picking up. Good characters, well written. Although it’s not for everyone, it is a gem for those who read fantasy, dystopian fiction.

This is one crazy story! Imagine if the characters of the story are only following the script aloud, like a puppet, not allowed to voice their own thoughts, make their own movements. Imagine periods of blankness in your memory, feeling like you're going insane.
I liked the idea of this story, that it is set in the 22nd century and the explanation of how this story came to be is believable. I wish that it focused a bit more on the characters REAL selves, instead of what I thought of as "fillers" - where the story focused more on the plot of the show.
Cyber Puppets is definitely unique! I've never encountered a story like it. It's a bit of drama, a bit of science fiction and a lot of fun to read!
