Little Eden

by

2012. Little Eden, London, England.

The beautiful sanctuary town of Little Eden is under threat.

Human greed, selfishness and disregard are about to turn the last 1,000 years to dust.

Robert Bartlett-Hart must make a choice.

With the help his friends (plus plenty of tea and cake), Robert learns that there is more at stake than just Little Eden.

Something lies at the heart of Abbey; something that stands between mankind and Armegeddon.

The friends must navigate past lives, other dimensions, and even Heaven itself, to find a way to save Little Eden and themselves.

Will Little Eden survive to usher in a new age, or will humanity perish with it?

Little Eden was launched as an e-book on November 1st 2018 and has already got 5 star reviews from the first wave of readers.

KT is hoping to use the novel to help raise awareness of CFS, especially May 2019 during CFS awareness week in the UK.

I’m so in love with Robert! Great cliff hangers and plot twists and I love all the spiritual stuff too but most of all it’s a great story set in a really beautiful place. I was hooked from the first page. Am trying the recipes and would highly recommend the scones, they are the best I’ve ever made. India’s brownies are to die for and I couldn’t wait to finish work so that I could get home and have another one!

by Louise Markham

The spiritual information is spot on and I already use KT’s prayers regularly. I love the place, the characters and the food too. I downloaded some of the songs so I can listen to the soundtrack in the car. I found it comforting and will read it over and over again there is so much in it! The brownies are to die for!

by Ruth Lightfoot

Well written and full of spiritual tit bits that make me want to click on the wiki links and learn more about the crystals, flower remedies, songs and poems. I felt as if I was being taken on a journey and didn’t want it to end. Robert, Jack, Sophie and Lucy are a great group of friends and I like the fact that Jack is sceptical about everything supernatural.

Can’t wait for Book 2. The spiritual and ascension info is genuine and I can feel the energy coming out of the book! It really is a magic book as KT says it is. I have read a few awakener and consciousness raising books and this is the best so far. The energy feels so pure and so new. I love the star children because I have one of my own at home!

I love the fact you can listen to the music, bake the cakes and be part of Little Eden. The story is full of unexpected moments and at the end of each chapter I just wanted to read another. I downloaded the prayer books too and love them.

This book is amazing, I couldn’t put it down. Loved everything about it, highly recommend it to anyone looking for something different to read.

I would recommend this book to anyone, spiritual or not because although it has a lot of true spiritual knowledge in it, it’s also a great read. I could feel the energy vibrating as I read it. Roll on Book 2.

I loved the characters even just after reading the first few pages and wanted to know what would happen to them. Especially Jennifer. I fell in love with Little Eden and want to live there. I love Sophie and Lucy at Daisy Place Café and I also tried some of Mrs B’s recipes from the book and the blog. Lucy’s Ginger Snap Biscuits are divine and everyone I give them to just wants more. Fab book, can’t wait for the next instalment.

My sister told me to read this as I'm more a detective fiction person myself - she said I'd enjoy it and I did!
The story is based around a fictional town called Little Eden and focuses on a group of residents there. It starts off gently but soon every chapter reveals something new that pushes the story forward. Lots of action and lots of information about a wide range of things that we don't normally think about. Wiki-links let you investigate further if you want to.
The writer has a quirky style and the story is unusual and imaginative. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys something a little out of the ordinary.
The recipes at the end are great as well

The magic really runs through the book from start to finish. The spiritual awakening energies are woven seamlessly through a rollercoaster ride of characters, plot twists and extraordinary experiences. A perfect blend of realism, spiritual awareness and the supernatural. It’s as if the supernatural is the natural in Little Eden!
Little Eden is a place to fall in love with and the characters are people you want to be friends with and hang out with over and over! Daisy Place Cafe-Bookshop is so beautiful. The food is scrumptious and the atmosphere is cosy yet full of magic and mystery.
Robert Bartlett-Hart is a hero to fall in live with, he’s handsome, sexy, if a bit clueless! His journey becomes our journey too!
Jack Fortune is just the kind of man we all want but know we shouldn’t but as he is fictional we can!
Lucy and Sophie Lawerence are adorable and Sophie suffers with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, so it’s great to have a heroine with a disability who is fighting every day to just even stay alive. There are so many strong women characters of all ages and all types.  KT is a healer and this really shows through with her take on ordinary life with a spiritual twist! It makes us think about our own lives and how we cope with tragedy, crisis, abuse, loss, health and money and helps us question if there might be a better way to help ourselves cope in our daily lives.
It’s interactive too...it’s not usual to have wiki-links in a novel but you can tap on key words to find out more about crystals, colour therapy, past lives, remotes viewing and more.
It’s an awakener book and KT King claims that the energy behind it opens our hearts and there are so many portals to consciousness woven through the story. Even if you are not spiritual or on a path to self-discovery, the story is so compelling, gripping and thrilling, it’s worth the read anyway!
India’s ‘slightly healthy but still very squidgy brownies’ are amazing! Give them a try! There is a Facebook group (Little Eden) where you can post your bakes and leave comments! KT addresses us as ‘dear readers’ at times and it’s as if she is holding our hands all the way along as we open our hearts and expand our minds!
Would recommend to everyone, you won’t be disappointed!
It’s book one in a series, so roll on book two!

Love this book, it drew me in from the very first chapter. I want to live in Little Eden and wile away the hours in the beautiful Daisy Place Cafe Bookshop, enjoying afternoon tea (Mrs B's recipes in the back are delicious and easy to make, especially the chocolate brownies - which my husband says are the best ever - and the ginger snap cookies are so popular with my run group I have to make them nearly every week.
Loved the change of pace and atmosphere. The story was unpredictable and not at all what you would expect.
The first part is cosy the second part is really thrilling!
Not sure which I fancy more, Jack or Robert, I keep changing my mind!
My favourite character is Lucy because I can relate to her the most, she wants to help and support everyone around her.
It's a spiritual book but you don't have to be into any of that to enjoy it and if you want to know more about past lives or crystals etc the wiki-links are a great source of extra info.
I used the iTunes links off the blog to have the soundtrack in the background as I read - plus eating cake as well! It's really like you can be inside the book.
I bought a couple of the crystal bracelets off KT's Etsy shop for friends this Christmas.
I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Can't wait for book two!

Little Eden is the kind of book which makes you wonder what is happening with the characters when you aren't actually reading! The place KT King has described, is a place it is nice to go to to get lost from the pressures and took of everyday life - it is a magic book!

by Evie Elliot

I have been completely immersed in this wonderful book. I want to live in Little Eden!
Immediately I fell in love with the characters (especially Robert!) A fantastic combination of great story telling and some spiritual stuff which is explained really well. I love the recipes at the end and can really recommend the Brownies.
I can’t wait for the next book.

So this isn’t the kind of book I normally read I’m more into murder, history and politics. However I was recommended this by a friend, and I thought let’s give it a try. The book is set in the most wonderful of places “Little Eden” you’ll end up wanting to live there! The characters are all so different you can hear their actual voices and you feel that you are there amongst the comings and goings and are part of the book. I must say DO NOT read this book if you wake up in the night and want something to send you back to sleep, you’ll find yourself reading till daybreak, leave that job to the tomes you may normally read!
It’s a really lovely book, you just have to try it to see.

I loved this book. I love the characters & especially little Eden. Made me think about what's going on in todays world & how simple it would be if the whole world could be like little Eden. I can't wait for the follow up book. Magical.

5 Stars
There are so many things to love about this book. The setting and atmosphere where my favourite elements -- Little Eden feels very real, utterly cozy and delicious, and magical yet grounded in earth. The plot is a definite page-turner, and the characters feel like old friends who I trust and root for. I just felt so warm and good sitting down to read this book, even though it is full of dark forces trying to take over! I'm really looking forward to the rest of the trilogy!

KT King

KT King was born in East Yorkshire, England. She studied at university in Lancaster and Cambridge but in her early twenties found that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, along with congenital spinal problems (which were causing severe chronic pain), prevented her from working full-time.

She began re-training as a healer, firstly to help with her own health issues but later she found she had a talent for it and began her own healing business. In 2000 she trained as a Reiki healer and then, over the course of several years, she went onto train as a Hypnotherapist, Counsellor and Reflexologist. She became a teacher, a spiritual guide and a spiritual psychic.

Having wanted to be writer since the age of five, she finally realised her dream at forty-five with her debut novel, Little Eden ~ A Magic Book coming out as an e-book on November 1st 2018.

I wanted to create a novel in which my friends and I could read about our lives. A novel in which we could say that really happens to me!

Due to CFS, KT has been too ill to work more than a few days a month since 2012 and without state aid, she is reliant on the charity of her family to provide food and shelter, losing her business and her home aged forty. She used her savings to create the e-book and hopes that one day she will be able to earn enough money through her writing to support herself again and to convert her novels into paperbacks.

I wanted to create a heroine who had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/M.E to show sufferers and the general public that we are still valid human beings and can contribute to society if given the proper understanding, care and support. Sufferers are often ridiculed, ignored and accused of making it all up or being lazy. Suicide rates are high, as are the number of deaths due to neglect. This is a real disease which needs to be recognised and researched properly. I am hoping my heroine, SOPHIE LAWRENCE, can help to raise the profile of this devastating illness and touch the hearts and minds of the public."

KT is now starting book two in the Little Eden series which she hopes to launch autumn 2019.
