A Collection of Internet Dating Stories Based on People’s Real Life Experiences

Over the past ten years, online dating has exploded in popularity. There are 15 million singles in the UK and a third of them are looking for love online, including a friend of Jane Austin’s, who suggested it would be a good idea for her to write a book about the subject. And so KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON DATING: A collection of internet dating stories based on people’s real life experiences was born!

Whilst there are internet dating books available, some written as guides or based on the authors’ own dating experiences, none of them are quite like KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON DATING. Jane interviewed around 40 people about their online dating encounters. Notes were taken, names and locations were changed, and 50 short stories emerged, from 'The Terminator' to 'Was She A Hooker?'.

Whether you read 'Sweet And Sour' or 'Algebra And Shakespeare', each of Jane’s stories is unique. Some are funny, whilst others are downright shocking – but don’t despair, there’s a sprinkling of happy endings. Whether you have dabbled in the world of internet dating or not, every moreish story will keep you calm and turning pages.

KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON DATING is an entertaining read, making it an ideal companion while you’re sunbathing by the pool on holiday – just don’t get too engrossed and forget to apply the sun cream. Plus it could well make you a little wiser before the next time you hastily arrange to meet up with the online Brad or Angelina of your dreams, who could well turn out to be Barbie or Ken!

I could not put this book down! In every story you can feel the excited anticipation before each date. Every story takes a completely different turn as you are drawn into these real life experiences. It is the great expectation of meeting Mr or Mrs Right coupled with the hilarious, desperate and shocking reality of what ensues that compels you to the next story and the next...
It took me back to my teenage days of reading 'Jackie' those teenage love stories shedding light of things to come and how we read them in secret as classmates. A bit like 'Lady Chatterley's Lover' another secret read in it's day. These tales of internet dating are wonderful revelations otherwise unheard by the public arena. I can't help thinking how wonderful it feels to see your story in this collection with the names changed and identities disguised.
This book is far beyond 'Cinderella'
