Fantastic little book. Easy to read to read to young ones and great for not so young ones to be reminded of the cockney slang.

Laura Reynolds is a content creator based in Chelmsford, Essex. On a long car journey at the start of 2020, she decided to use her interest in language to write her first children’s picture book, Joanie May. Inspired by her grandmother’s childhood stories, she imagined reading it to her own children, Eli and Jude, to make sure it was perfect. It was soon after writing it, she set about working with her favourite illustrator Lucie Sheridan, to bring Joanie May and her adventures to life. Laura hopes to put pen to paper again in the future to create further playful kids’ books.
