How To Gossip

Expert Advice from the British Association of Gossipmongers

by

Everybody gossips, it's just that some are better at it than others. This slim 'how to' guide covers aspects of gossiping such as the ethics of gossipeteering, getting the goss without giving it away, gossiping via email, breaking confidences with confidence, and tactics to use when caught red-tongued.

A combination of worthy and patronising, with a bit of Trinny and Susannah thrown in, this guide will appeal to all who like a good gossip and yet wish to improve their technique.

Nicole's first book How to Gossip whetted her appetite for writing books that share very practical, yet previously unspoken, hints and tips on subjects close to one's heart. She created the British Association of Gossipmongers and wrote this tongue-in-cheek book as if it were continuing professional development for members.Using her alter-ego Nicole Blabbermouth, President of BAG she was unfettered in dispensing her baubles of insight, not only about the gossip itself, but also concerning the way in which it was done.

When her Dad had a severe stroke in 2006, Nicole found herself having to face challenge after challenge in helping him come to terms with and enjoy life. Her second book The Accidental Carer tells their story and again is packed full of practical advice for anyone who suddenly and unexpectedly becomes a carer.
The Accidental Carer will be published in late 2009.

Nicole Banerji

They say that it is best to write about something you know about. Nicole has always been fascinated in people and what makes them tick, why they do the things that they do. This led her to a successful career as a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and she has advised organisations as to how to get the best out of people for over 20 years.

On turning 40 she decided that there was more to life than work, work, work, no matter how enjoyable it was. She now combines her work as a freelance psychologist with her passion for textile design and a newly found interest in writing. She also makes time for shopping, lunching and gossiping which are down as hobbies on her CV!
