Well it has been a long journey researching and marketing my 2 books. Matador and myself have no remaining stock of Book 2.
There are no plans for a reprint of Book 2 but Book 1 continues to sell well
Sales at Stafford's New Book Fair on 22 August 2015 enabled me to reach my target of Break even on both books, the ambition of all Local History Book Authors. Please check out my Reader Reviews from satisfied buyers
What an excellent day at my book signing at Stafford's Cheese and Ale Festival event in July.
The Mayor of Stafford, The Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire and Jeremy Lefroy MP visited my stand and were really impressed with both books and duly purchased.
First signing at Stafford's Ancient High House on Saturday May 10 was successful, with the Friends of The Ancient High House fund receiving £2 for every book that was sold. www.john-connor.co.uk has a trading cart, where purchasers can order a signed copy with any dedication they require.
My talk about the Inns and Alehouses of Stafford to The Friends of The Ancient High House has led to the building being made available for a book signing. This being an historic building in Stafford dating back to 1555.
10 books delivered to an independent bookshop received the comment - Very impressive, your book, what a mine of information on Stafford pubs, you must have spent many hours to research the information. Well yes it took 9 years of research!
