Spudology is an irreverent, darkly comic piece of metafiction set in Ireland; and, on a few levels, is a commentary on the state of the cultural zeitgeist.
Wannabe writer, lover of sentences, and avid reader of books, Paddy Nahneghri, a middle-aged, Irish bachelor - tries to get a handle on his life and must break a Hex which was put on him by his angry ex, Margo. And as a consequence, falls down into Hell. Where he has to navigate the underworld and ends up meeting with Beelzebub. How will he fare, and, will Paddy be able to get back home?
