Mark Pritchard has spent much of his life riding his beloved Bianchi bicycles around Britain and Europe. In May 2018 he achieved a lifetime ambition when he left the UK to cycle 3,400 miles across the USA to Boston. Over the six weeks of his tour he learnt a lot about this great country and its people. Can I Tell You Something? is the story of the places he visited, the history and culture he discovered and the people he met and rode with along the way.
Mark Pritchard's latest book, "Can I Tell You Something?" is a heartwarming read for anyone with an adventurous heart. It is a humorous and rich accounting of Mark's crossing the United States by bicycle, which reads easily and is engaging - making it difficult to put the book down. The format, a sequential recollection of the journey with his mates on the tour, is laced with Mark's interactions with Americans as his English accent (and cyclist's Lycra) seized their attention and opened the door for introductions and engaging conversations. A must-read for any cyclist.
