I have been fascinated by ancient history since I was a child. My first passion was ancient Egypt, after I saw the 1932 film, The Mummy. As an adult, I became interested in pre-Columbian Mexico. I travelled to Mexico and central America, to visit the Mayan pyramids and temples there. The statues, heiroglyphs and historical events behind the architecture inspired me to write my novel Smoke Macaw and Lady Rainbow.
After living and working in various countries, I settled in Munich, Germany. I have two teenage children.
My novel Smoke Macaw and Lady Rainbow comes out as an E-BOOK on February 28 and PAPERBACK on March 28.
The E-BOOK is available on: Apple i-phone, Kobo, Google Play, Troubador/Matador and others. The PAPERBACK is available via Troubador/Matador, WH Smith, Bookshop.org, Amazon, Book Depository and others.
There are various options for the (also potential) reader: a ' teaser ' ie you can read the first 56 pages to see if the novel is something for you, you can obtain it POD/print-on-demand, it can be ordered as a paperback or e-book.
As a sequel to this novel, I am writing The Long Shadow of Teotihuacan (working title).
