Reviewers
The Self Publishing Magazine is always
looking for new reviewers of books. Our book reviewers
receive no payment, but they do get to keep the book
they are reviewing, and they will get their review published
and their name listed in the magazine.
Reviewers will be asked to review
a book within three weeks of receipt, writing a review
of between 100 and 200 words, and to rate a book on a
scale of 1–10. Reviewers
are asked to comment on both content and presentation.
Reviews may be edited to fit the space available in the
magazine, but for no other reason, even if a review is
not positive. The aim is to provide fair reviews of books
from all publishers to enable readers and bookshops to
make informed choices on books to buy.
If you are interested in becoming
a reviewer for The Self Publishing Magazine,
please email us with your name, address, and a list of
specialist subjects that you are interested in reviewing
books in (eg. Fiction, business, history, travel, etc.).
It is also useful to know if you have reviewed books previously.
Note that all correspondence for the magazine will be carried
out by email, and we expect our reviewers to send their
reviews by email only. If we accept you as a reviewer we
will contact you to let you know.
