Matador book selected for in store WH Smiths Travel Promotion to mark LGBTQ Landmark.

The Second Footman, written by Jasper Barry, is one of 32 titles that have been specially selected by WH Smith's fiction buyer for a landmark promotion to mark the decriminalisation of homosexuality in England and Wales. The titles will be heavily promoted in 35 of the biggest travel bookshops - including Gatwick, Heathrow and Stanstead as well as mainline train stations.

The only self-published title to make the list, The Second Footman is described by WH Smiths Buyer as "One of the finest books I have ever read.’’

The author, Jasper Barry, has just signed of the third print run of the book - and the sequel is underway too. "Thanks the incredible support of WH Smiths, I am honoured tha it will feature in the chains promotion this June," adss Jasper.

The WH Smiths promotion will go live from 22nd June.
