The Postmistress of Nong Khai republished in Asia

Frank Hurst's novel The Postmistress of Nong Khai has been republished by Booksmango, a Thailand based publishing company. The crime thriller and romance, which is set in the UK and Thailand, has received excellent reviews from the regional press who pronounced it to be 'thrilling, vividly described and a particular treat that left us wanting more'.

The novel is Frank's first and the opener in his Golden Triangle Trilogy. It charts the adventures of fictional character Mike Rawlin as he tries to bring a dangerous international drug smuggling gang to justice. Following its republication, the book is now also available on the shelves of Asia Books the largest English language book store chain in Thailand. The sequel The Chiang Mai Assignment is due for release next year.

Commenting on the news, Frank said he was 'delighted' and thanked Matador for their help in producing the second edition with Booksmango. “It is a real thrill when you see your work displayed on store bookshelves for the first time and it has given me ever more energy to complete the trilogy!”
