Author of The Loxley Trust to speak at GCGI 2016 conference

John Hough, author of The Loxley Trust will be speaking at Globalisation for Common Good Initiative Conference held from 31st August to 4th September in Oxford.

How do we resolve matters when our personal ethics focussed on ‘the common good’ clash with national and commercial law? What values would you apply in working through the ethical and moral dilemmas if you had Robin’s capabilities? This is the dilemma facing John's modern-day Robin Hood in his novel The Loxley Trust. Robin believes that no-one [individual or corporation] should be allowed to profit from violent conflict. Robin recognises that ‘arms’ are not the cause of violent conflict; but the supply of arms does determine the sustainability, the level of devastation and the level of human misery resulting from violent conflict.

John Hough is passionate about international and social justice. Looking to engage a wide audience he has published two provocative political thrillers: Integrity and The Loxley Trust.
