Jay Clarke is finalist in poetry competition

Jay Clarke, the author of Poetry for PSHE, is one of the finalists in the Stamford Poet Laureate competition.

The proud winner will enjoy writing poems to order and perform for a small number of civic town events throughout the year. The final will be held on 20th April at the Stamford Arts Centre on the launch of the Verse Poetry Festival.

Jay Clarke’s Poetry for PSHE is a book designed specifically for young adults studying PSHE, but with the needs of the teacher very much in mind. Each poem comes complete with its own bespoke lesson plan.

We wish Jay the best of luck! For more information about the Verse Poetry Festival 2016, go to the Stamford Arts Centre website: http://www.stamfordartscentre.com
