The Wales Book of the Year has shortlisted two Matador authors for the 2013 prize.

Elaine Morgan (Knock 'em Cld Kid) and Paul Surridge (Girls Can’t Make Gun Noises) have both been long-listed for the prestigious Wales Book of the Year Award 2013.

The award is presented to the best Welsh and English-language works first published in 2012 in the fields of creative writing and literary criticism in three categories: Poetry, Fiction and Creative Non-Fiction. The Award is administered by Literature Wales with funding from the Arts Council of Wales.
