Getting the word out.....

Matador author, John Hanley, is enjoying promoting his first novel, Against the Tide:

''On the back of my successful book launch I’ve been invited to adjudicate in the literary section of the Jersey Eisteddfod in March. They’re flying me in and accommodating me in a hotel. This should provide another opportunity for book promotion!'' says John.

''In addition, my website has now had over 4500 visits. I have over 700 friends on Goodreads, 500 on Facebook and my author page has been liked 165 times. I also have over 2000 twitter followers and Against The Tide has received a very large number of retweets. I am enjoying using all of these channels to promote my book.''

John's local newspaper, The West Briton, has also just published an article about his writing and he'll be appearing on BBC Radio Cornwall at 15:15 on Tuesday 11 December to talk about his book.
