Latest MediaTime out at Troubador....
Staff at Troubador took time out this week for a team-building exercise... a sedate go-karting session turned into the 'Wacky Races' as competition between departments hotted up... Dick Dastardly (Sam) and Mutley (Lauren) did all they could to scupper the chances of the production department (the Ant Hill Mob, Terry and Amy) by blocking the track with their own karts!
Elsewhere, Private Meekly (Amy Statham) took out The Red Max (Jane) on a blind bend; and Penelope Pitstop (Jen) careered past the resulting chaos with shouts of "He-lp! He-lp!" as she span out of control into the tyre wall.
Rufus Ruffcut (Sarah) and Sawtooth (Amy) put up a spirited showing, with Sawtooth bringing in a leading time on the second round, and despite Rufus driving the wrong way around the track!
Peter Perfect (Jeremy) was narrowly pipped at the post by Sergeant Blast (Ciara) as she maniacally navigated the mayhem on track in a winning lap time of just 46 seconds.
The Troubador MD commented: "I'm not quite sure what sort of team we've succeeding in building... but I'd advise everyone to stay off the roads when the staff are driving home!"
