The Lady Corrie Jayne is not just a Westie, she is a posh Dawg with a heritage as long as her back paw, and a real talent for computer hacking! Her new home with the Kents of Millennium Drive is just what she has been wishing for. Not only do they Adore her, they also have a Dogatron Personal Computer so Corrie can keep in touch with her new human Daddy who works far away on a ship.
Corrie emails him regularly and tells him all about her bad start in life, sold to a family who did not really understand the ways of dogs. She tells him about the Puppy Dog’s Handbook written by her Granpappy with his own muddy paws and how she found E is for Escape and decided to get away from her First Family and head for the North and her homeland. She tells Daddy about her time on the cold streets of London, the Poor Doggy Rescue Centre where she is taken in as a waif and stray and how PC is for Personal Computer, of course! She also warns him that the family is in danger from the McNabbits. But Daddy does not believe in doggy emails or the Puppy Dog’s Handbook. What ever will become of them all?
In this adventure for children aged 6 - 10, the story is unusually told in folders full of emails between Corrie and her friends and family.
